Midtown, North Third Street around the Broad Street Market
Third Street near Verbeke is the Midtown Market District. A bookstore, gift and plant shops, clothing, galleries, and the market itself across three blocks. Downtown on Second Street is the other cluster. These are small shops full of things people ask about. That is what a live show was built for.

The third Friday of every month
Midtown and downtown shops stay open late with music and art. It is the one night a month the crowd comes to the shop. So it is the night to go live from inside it.

Three days on the river with the whole region in town. A shop a few blocks from the park can sell to that crowd on camera. Nobody has to leave the counter.
Pennsylvania Farm Show
The second week of January
The biggest indoor farm show in the country comes to Harrisburg in January. It is the quietest month in retail. A shop that goes live that week has a crowd the rest of the state does not.

- Where in Harrisburg are the shifts?
- Mostly Midtown on Third Street and downtown near Second Street, inside the shops. You get the shop and address when you are booked. Parking and the after hours setup are in the booking note.
- I go to HACC or Harrisburg University. Does that fit?
- Yes. Both campuses are minutes from Midtown, shifts are two hours, and most run in the late afternoon or evening. Tell us the hours you are free and we book those.
- Is 3rd in The Burg a shift or an event?
- A shift. The shop is open and busy, you host from inside it, and the crowd on the street becomes part of the show. It is the easiest first shift in the city for exactly that reason.
- How does pay work?
- You are paid for every shift you work. When a show sells well there is a bonus on top. We tell you both numbers before your first shift, not after.
