Is Jubilee Day a shift?

Yes, and it is the busiest one of the year here. The shop is open, the street is packed, and the show has a crowd in the room. If you can work that Thursday, say so when you apply.

You are paid for every shift you work. When a show sells well there is a bonus on top. We tell you both numbers before your first shift, not after.

Downtown Mechanicsburg, Main Street and Market Street

Main Street between York and Walnut is the heart of it. Gift shops, a bakery or two, home goods, and the kind of small stores that fill a Saturday morning. Market Street runs across it. These are shops with regulars, and regulars are the first people who tune in to a live.

The biggest one day street fair on the East Coast, right on Main Street. Every shop on the block is open with a crowd outside. A shop that goes live that day sells to the fair and to the phones at once.

A few thousand students land four miles away. Shops that go live that week reach new faces who do not know the town yet. Many of them are looking for a two hour shift.
