Where the shops are
Downtown Carlisle, West High Street and North Hanover Street
The shops sit on the blocks around the square, where High Street and Hanover Street cross. Boutiques, gift shops, a few breweries and places to eat. All of it is a short walk from the Dickinson campus. A live show from one of these shops reaches people who would never park downtown on a Tuesday night.

Fall Carlisle at the Carlisle Fairgrounds
September 30 to October 4, 2026
The car show and swap meet at the fairgrounds fills the town. Shops that go live that week reach buyers who are already in town. They also reach the fans who follow the show from home.

The biggest one day event downtown. More than a hundred artists set up on High Street. Every shop on the block is open. A shop that goes live that day sells to the crowd outside and the crowd at home.
Spring Carlisle at the Carlisle Fairgrounds
April 22 to 26, 2026, and each spring after
The first big show week of the year. Hotels fill. Downtown fills. Shops that sell on camera that week get a second season before summer.

- Where in Carlisle are the shifts?
- Inside shops in and around downtown, mostly near the square. We tell you the shop and the address when you are booked. Not before. The shop's stock and hours are their business until then.
- I am a Dickinson student. Can I do this around class?
- Yes. Shifts are two hours and most are late afternoon or evening. Tell us your class schedule when you apply and we book around it. It changes each term and we expect that.
- Do car show weeks change the schedule?
- They add to it. Spring Carlisle and Fall Carlisle are the busiest weeks downtown, and shops want to be live while the town is full. If you can work those weeks, say so when you apply.
- How does pay work?
- You are paid for every shift you work. When a show sells well there is a bonus on top. We tell you both numbers before your first shift, not after.
